Petrol and Diesel Prices Drop by 300-400 VND/Liter

According to the adjustment from the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance, from 15:00 on February 22, the prices of gasoline have decreased by over 300 VND per liter, while diesel prices have dropped by over 400 VND per liter.

In this adjustment on February 22, the ministries decided to allocate 300 VND/kg to the Stabilization Fund for fuel oil (madut) and not to allocate the Stabilization Fund for E5 RON92 gasoline, RON95 gasoline, diesel oil, and kerosene. The Stabilization Fund for these products will not be used.

After the allocation and use of the Stabilization Fund for these fuel products, the retail prices of commonly used fuels in the market are as follows:

  • E5 RON92 Gasoline: Not to exceed 22,475 VND/liter (a decrease of 356 VND/liter compared to the current base price), which is 1,124 VND/liter lower than RON95-III.

  • RON95-III Gasoline: Not to exceed 23,599 VND/liter (a decrease of 320 VND/liter compared to the current base price).

  • Diesel Oil 0.05S: Not to exceed 20,910 VND/liter (a decrease of 451 VND/liter compared to the current base price).

  • Kerosene: Not to exceed 20,921 VND/liter (a decrease of 300 VND/liter compared to the current base price).

  • Madut Oil 180CST 3.5S: Not to exceed 15,929 VND/kg (an increase of 23 VND/kg compared to the current base price).

The new prices and allocation of the Stabilization Fund will take effect from 15:00 on February 22.
