Domestic Coffee Price Situation:
Today's domestic coffee prices fluctuate between 127,400 and 128,200 VND/kg, averaging at 128,000 VND/kg, marking a sharp increase of 1,900 VND compared to yesterday. The highest purchase price is recorded in Đăk Nông province at 128,200 VND/kg, while the lowest is in Lâm Đồng province at 127,400 VND/kg.
Global Coffee Price Situation
Today, global coffee prices rebounded after a sharp decline in the previous session. This recovery is attributed to the weakening of the US dollar following significant easing of inflation in June and a decrease in the US Consumer Price Index (CPI) for June, which has bolstered confidence that the Federal Reserve will soon cut interest rates.
The price of the September 2024 Arabica coffee futures contract increased slightly. Specifically, the settlement price on July 11th was 244.85 cents per pound, marking a 0.53% rise compared to the previous session.
