Domestic Coffee Price Situation:
On the domestic market, as recorded this morning (September 16), the price of green coffee beans in the Central Highlands and Southern provinces followed the global trend, increasing sharply by 5,000 - 5,700 VND/kg compared to the same time last week. Currently, prices range from approximately 123,500 to 124,000 VND/kg.
Global Coffee Situation:
Prolonged drought in Brazil and Typhoon Yagi in Vietnam have raised concerns about global coffee production, pushing coffee prices up sharply.
Arabica Coffee Futures Contract for December 2024:
The Arabica Coffee Futures Contract for December 2024 continues to rise. Specifically, the settlement price on September 13 was 259.45 cents/pound, an increase of 4.03% from the previous session.
