Domestic Coffee Price Situation:
Today, domestic coffee prices fluctuated between 117,300 and 118,000 VND/kg, with an average price of 117,600 VND/kg, a decrease of 100 VND compared to yesterday. The highest purchase price was recorded in Đắk Lắk and Đăk Nông provinces at 118,000 VND/kg, while the lowest was in Lâm Đồng province at 117,300 VND/kg.
Global Coffee Market Situation:
The prices of both types of coffee continue to rise due to a decrease in inflation in the U.S., an increase in the Brazilian Real, which has reduced exports, and speculators closing their short positions.
September 2024 Arabica Coffee Futures Price: The September 2024 Arabica Coffee Futures price continues to rise. Specifically, the settlement price on August 16 was 245.45 cents/pound, up 2.31% compared to the previous session.
