Additionally, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics revised down the U.S. payrolls by 818,000 for the period from April 2023 to March 2024, significantly more than the expected 600,000 and marking the largest downward revision since 2009, signaling less job growth than initially reported.

The September Silver Contracts saw a slight increase. The settlement price on August 21 was $29.535 per troy ounce, up 0.05% from the previous session.

The October Platinum Contracts rose sharply. The settlement price on August 21 was $973.3 per troy ounce, up 1.85% from the previous session.

The September Copper Contracts saw a slight increase. The settlement price on August 21 was $4.19 per pound, up 0.76% from the previous session.
