The U.S. Dollar Index fell 0.16% on Friday, reaching its lowest level in 14 months. This decline followed weaker-than-expected reports on U.S. personal income and spending, which negatively impacted the dollar. U.S. personal spending in August rose by 0.2% compared to the previous month, slightly below the forecasted 0.3%. Personal income in August also increased by 0.2%, falling short of the expected 0.4%. The U.S. core PCE index for August rose 2.7% year-over-year, in line with expectations, indicating a mild signal that raised the likelihood of further Fed rate cuts, which is unfavorable for the dollar.

The Silver December Futures prices dropped. The settlement price on September 27 was $31.816 per troy ounce, down 1.62% from the previous session. 

The Platinum November Futures prices also fell. The settlement price on September 27 was $1,013.5 per troy ounce, down 0.23% from the previous session.

The Copper December Futures prices declined. The settlement price on September 27 was $4.6 per pound, down 0.85% from the previous session.
