The USD remained stable in the recent trading session as the currency market traded more steadily, with investors weighing the possibility that the Federal Reserve (Fed) will make deep interest rate cuts next month.

On Saturday, Governor Bowman stated: "The progress in lowering inflation during May and June is a welcome development, but inflation is still uncomfortably above 2% goal".

The September Silver Contract price increased sharply. The settlement price on August 12 was 28.008 USD/troy ounce, up 1.52% from the final session of the last week.

The October Platinum Contract price increased significantly. The settlement price on August 12 was 946.6 USD/troy ounce, up 1.8% from the final session of the last week.

The September Copper Contract price increased sharply. The settlement price on August 12 was 4.069 USD/pound, up 1.89% from the final session of the last week.
