The Conference Board US Jul consumer confidence index rose +2.5 to 100.3, stronger than expectations of 99.7.

The September Silver contract price surged. The settlement price on July 30 was $28.525 per troy ounce, up 2.36% from the previous session.

The October Platinum contract price continued its upward trend. The settlement price on July 30 was $971 per troy ounce, up 1.4% from the previous session.

The September Copper contract price remained flat compared to the previous session. The settlement price on July 30 was over $4.08 per pound.
