US stock market

U.S. stock futures inched higher on Thursday morning after the Nasdaq Composite’s worst session since 2022 amid investors’ rotation out of big tech high-flyers.

Dow Jones Industrial Average futures rose 68 points, or 0.16%. S&P 500 futures and Nasdaq 100 futures climbed 0.20% and 0.33%, respectively.

US Treasury bonds

The US Treasury's 10-year bond yield remains at 4.16%.

Dollar Index

The Dollar Index fell 0.53%, to 103.75 points, after comments from some FED officials showed that the possibility of interest rate cuts increased in the near future.

Gold

World gold prices turned down slightly after a record-breaking session with spot gold down 10.3 USD, down to 2,457.8 USD/ounce. Gold futures last traded down 10.6 USD compared to yesterday morning, down to 2,463 USD/ounce.

Commodity market

At the end of yesterday's trading session, oil prices suddenly turned up about 2% when US oil inventories fell stronger than expected and the US dollar weakened. Brent oil price increased 1.35 USD, equivalent to 1.6%, to 85.08 USD/barrel. WTI oil price increased by 2.09 USD, equivalent to 2.6%, to 82.85 USD/barrel.
