The US stock market
The US stock market rebounded strongly on Monday's trading session as technology stocks recovered. The S&P 500 index increased by 1.08%, reaching 5564.41 points. The Nasdaq index rose by 1.58%, closing at 18007.57 points. The Dow Jones index climbed by 0.32%, ending at 40415.44 points.
The United States 10-Year Bond Yield
The 10-year bond yield slightly increased to 4.253%.
Dollar Index
The Dollar Index decreased by 0.11% to 104.28 points in yesterday's session as US President Joe Biden decided to end his re-election campaign.
Gold prices
The global gold price slightly decreased today, with spot gold down by 5.2 USD to 2397.6 USD per ounce. Gold futures last traded down 1 USD from early yesterday, at 2398.1 USD per ounce.
Commodity trading market
At the beginning of the week's trading session, oil prices continued to decline as reserves increased and signs of weak demand emerged. Brent oil prices fell by 23 cents, or 0.3%, to 82.4 USD per barrel. WTI oil prices dropped by 35 cents, or 0.4%, to 79.78 USD per barrel.
