U.S. Stock Market Situation on July 23

The U.S. stock market experienced a slight decline on Tuesday as investors awaited Q2 financial reports from major technology companies. The S&P 500 fell by 0.16% to 5,555.74 points. The Nasdaq dropped by 0.06% to 17,997.35 points. The Dow Jones decreased by 0.14% to 40,358.09 points.

Dollar Index Situation

Commodity Market Situation

At the end of Tuesday’s trading session, expectations for a ceasefire in Gaza and concerns about demand from the Chinese market led to a roughly 2% drop in oil prices. This was also the lowest price for oil since June 7. Brent crude oil fell by $1.39, or 1.7%, to $81.01 per barrel. WTI crude oil dropped by $1.44, or 1.8%, to $76.96 per barrel.
