US Stock Market Situation

US stocks had mixed results on Tuesday, with Nvidia shares seeing a rebound. The S&P 500 Index rose by 0.39%, closing at 5,469.3 points. The Nasdaq Index increased by 1.26%, closing at 17,717.65 points. Both indices ended a three-day losing streak. The Dow Jones Index, however, diverged from the other two indices, falling by 299.05 points or 0.76%, to 39,112.16 points.

The yield on the 10-year US Treasury bond increased to 4.246%.

Dollar Index Situation

The Dollar Index rose by 0.15%, reaching 105.62. The US dollar strengthened in the previous trading session, bolstered by "hawkish" comments from Federal Reserve officials and data showing stability in the housing market of the world’s largest economy.

Gold Situation

Global gold prices turned lower, with spot gold falling by $13.8 to $2,320.5 per ounce. Futures gold prices last traded down $12.8 from early morning, at $2,331.6 per ounce.

Commodity Market Situation

At the close of trading on June 25, oil prices decreased by 1% due to lower consumer confidence data in the US, raising concerns about economic prospects and fuel demand after a slow start to the driving season in the US. Brent crude oil fell by $1, or 1.2%, to $85.01 per barrel. WTI crude oil dropped by 80 cents, or 1%, to $80.83 per barrel.
