U.S. Stock Market on October 24: The S&P 500 rose by 0.21% to 5,809.86 points ending a three-session losing streak. The Nasdaq Composite climbed 0.76% to 18,415.49 points, while the Dow Jones dropped 140.59 points (equivalent to 0.33%) to 42,374.36 points.

U.S. Treasury Bond Situation on October 24: The yield on the 10-year U.S. Treasury bond surpassed 4.25% on Wednesday but declined back to 4.2% by the close of Thursday's session.

Dollar Index Update: The index, which measures the strength of the USD, closed at 104.6 points, up from 104.43 points in the previous session.

Gold Market Update: By the end of the trading session on October 24, the spot gold contract increased by 0.7% to 2,736.16 USD/ounce, after dipping from its record high of 2,758.37 USD/ounce. The gold futures contract saw a similar rise to 2,749.1 USD/ounce.

Commodity Trading Market Update: At the close of the trading session on October 24, Brent crude oil contracts dropped by 0.77% to 74.38 USD/barrel, while WTI crude oil contracts fell by 0.82% to 70.19 USD/barrel.

Precious Metals and Other Commodities: Silver for December 2024 experienced a slight decrease of 0.1% from the previous session to 33.795 USD/troy ounce. Conversely, platinum rose by 0.4%, settling at 1,033.6 USD, and copper increased by 0.3% to 4.3515 USD/pound.
