According to the adjustment by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance, from 3:00 PM on March 21, each liter of gasoline will increase by more than 700 VND, while diesel will rise by 470 VND per liter.

Accordingly, E5 gasoline increases by 720 VND per liter, with a selling price of 23,210 VND per liter. RON 95-III gasoline increases by 740 VND per liter, with a selling price of 24,280 VND per liter.

Diesel prices increase by 470 VND per liter, with a selling price of 21,010 VND per liter. Kerosene rises by 560 VND per liter to 21,266 VND per liter.

In this adjustment cycle, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Industry and Trade did not allocate and did not use the Stabilization Fund for most types of gasoline and oil, except for a 300 VND per liter allocation for mazut oil.

In the most recent fuel price adjustment (March 14), retail prices for fuel were slightly reduced for gasoline and increased for oil. Specifically, each liter of gasoline decreased by 10-20 VND. Conversely, kerosene and diesel oil increased by 70-100 VND per liter.

Regarding electronic invoicing in retail gasoline and oil sales, the General Department of Taxation reported that as of March 15, a total of 10,649 gasoline and oil retailers had issued electronic invoices for each sale, an increase of 7,949 retailers compared to December 1, 2023.

Currently, there are approximately 15,756 retail gasoline and oil stores nationwide. Thus, around 5,100 gasoline and oil stores have not yet issued electronic invoices for each sale.

Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has stated that companies failing to comply with electronic invoicing regulations by March 31 will face penalties. The General Department of Taxation has frequently requested local tax departments to establish inter-agency inspection teams to enhance control over invoice issuance after each sale at retail gasoline and oil stores.
