Job Description:
You will be required to support the Company to review name-screening alerts for adverse news, sanctions and any other databases as may be changed from time to time. You will need to communicate with overseas colleagues regularly, at least every other day. You may be required to travel to Singapore for training purposes and will report to a Team Lead in Singapore.
Name screening and sanctions review
Review name screening alerts using incumbent system, against sanction lists, adverse news and PEP for onboarding and periodic reviews
Determine if alerts are true or false positives
Ensure alerts are resolved timely and appropriately
Ensure completeness in housekeeping with respect to alert dismissals and documentation
Escalate to relevant teams for further resolution or action, where necessary
Carry out ad-hoc screening for the Company
Report generation and data updates
Ensuring relevant manual databases are accurately and timely maintained
Data preparation for reporting purposes
Any other ad-hoc tasks as required by the Company
Requirements:
You should possess the following:
1-2 years of work experience. Fresh graduates are also welcomed.
Process-oriented with strong sense of urgency and accountability
Able to uphold standards under strict timelines
Able to work independently under minimal supervision
Resourceful and creative in alert dismissal methods
Familiarity with name and sanction screening tools
Ability to read English and Chinese; ability to speak English is a requirement
